Terms of Use & End User License Agreement (EULA)

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of eSign PDF Converter & Editor (“App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By downloading, installing, purchasing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. About the App

eSign PDF Converter & Editor provides PDF-related tools including:

• PDF editing and annotation

• eSign and electronic signatures

• PDF conversion

• Scan to PDF

• PDF compression

• PDF merging and splitting

• Page organization and rotation

• PDF reading and viewing

• Read PDF aloud

• PDF printing

• Image to PDF and PDF to image conversion

• Document management and related PDF utilities

Features may be improved, modified, added, or removed as the App evolves.

2. License to Use the App

You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and the applicable Apple App Store Usage Rules.

The App is licensed to you, not sold.

You may not copy, redistribute, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, modify, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the App except where such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

3. Apple Standard EULA

Because the App is distributed through the Apple Mac App Store, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) and applicable Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Apple's Standard EULA is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

If any provision of these Terms conflicts with Apple's mandatory App Store terms or Standard EULA, the applicable Apple terms will govern to the extent required.

Apple is not responsible for the App, its functionality, maintenance, support, content, warranties, or claims relating to the App, except as required under Apple's applicable terms or applicable law.

4. Subscriptions & Purchases

The App may offer the following purchase options:

Weekly Subscription – $2.99
Yearly Subscription – $19.99
Lifetime Access – $39.99

Prices may vary depending on your country, currency, taxes, promotions, or pricing changes made through the App Store.

Weekly and Yearly plans are auto-renewable subscriptions unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

Payment is processed through your Apple ID account after confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off through your Apple account before the current subscription period ends.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.

Any refunds, billing disputes, cancellations or payment-related requests are handled according to Apple's App Store policies.

5. Lifetime Access

Lifetime Access is a one-time in-app purchase providing access to the premium features associated with that purchase for the supported lifetime of the App.

“Lifetime” does not guarantee that the App, every existing feature, or compatibility with every future version of macOS will remain available indefinitely.

We may update, replace, modify or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for technical, legal, security or platform-related reasons.

6. Electronic Signatures

The App allows users to create and place electronic signatures on PDF documents.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

• You have authority to sign the document.

• Your use of an electronic signature complies with applicable laws.

• Any required witnesses, authentication, notarization or identity verification requirements are satisfied.

• The document accepts electronic signatures for its intended legal purpose.

The App provides tools for creating and placing signatures but does not provide legal advice or guarantee that a particular electronic signature will be legally valid or enforceable in every jurisdiction or circumstance.

For important legal documents, you should obtain appropriate professional advice where necessary.

7. Your Documents & Content

You remain responsible for the PDF files, images, signatures, scans, documents and other content you open, create, edit, convert or export using the App.

You must have the necessary rights or permissions to process any content using the App.

You agree not to use the App to create, modify, distribute or process content that:

• Violates applicable law

• Infringes copyright or intellectual property rights

• Contains unlawful or fraudulent material

• Violates another person's privacy

• Is used for unauthorized impersonation or document falsification

8. PDF Conversion & File Accuracy

PDF conversion, OCR, compression, document scanning, formatting and file export may produce different results depending on the original document, fonts, formatting, images, file structure and macOS capabilities.

We do not guarantee that every converted or edited document will preserve 100% of its original formatting or appearance.

Users should review important documents before signing, printing, sharing or submitting them.

9. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The App is designed to provide a private PDF workflow where users remain in control of the documents they choose to open, edit, scan, convert, export, save or print.

10. No Professional Advice

The App is a productivity and document-management tool.

Nothing provided through the App constitutes legal, financial, tax, accounting or other professional advice.

You are solely responsible for reviewing documents and determining whether they are appropriate for your intended purpose.

11. Availability & Updates

We may periodically release updates to improve:

• Performance

• Security

• Compatibility

• PDF editing

• PDF conversion

• Scanning

• Electronic signatures

• User experience

• Stability

Some features may change because of updates to macOS, Apple frameworks, technical requirements or App Store policies.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of every feature.

12. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, interface, graphics, branding, design, code and original content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of the App or any intellectual property associated with it.

13. Third-Party Formats & Services

The App may work with document formats, operating-system features or technologies provided by third parties.

References to file formats, companies, trademarks or products are used only to describe compatibility or functionality and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that:

• The App will always operate without interruption.

• Every PDF will be processed perfectly.

• Every conversion will preserve original formatting.

• Every electronic signature will satisfy every legal requirement.

• The App will remain compatible with every future macOS version.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses resulting from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

This includes loss resulting from corrupted documents, formatting changes, lost files, unsuccessful conversions, printing errors or reliance on documents processed using the App.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important documents.

16. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time.

We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary if these Terms are materially violated, subject to applicable law and App Store requirements.

Provisions relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and other provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms when necessary to reflect:

• New App features

• Legal requirements

• Apple App Store requirements

• Subscription changes

• Privacy or security improvements

• Changes to the App's functionality

The updated version will display a revised “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms where permitted by applicable law.

18. Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary

You acknowledge and agree that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the applicable EULA for the App.

Upon your acceptance of these Terms and the applicable EULA, Apple may enforce applicable EULA provisions against you as a third-party beneficiary where provided under Apple's terms.
